FAQs


Where do you ship? Everywhere! We get web orders from all over the world. We ship via USPS based on weight, box size, and delivery zip code. We charge $35 for international shipping. All prices on shopavenueboutique.com are in USD ($).

When will my order ship? We typically get orders out within 5 business days. Please keep in mind we are a small team!, so we get them out at soon as we can (sometimes day of). Some jewelry, Avenue line clothing, and other accessories are made to order. As soon as we've created a label for it you'll get an email with your tracking number.

Help! I don't see my size in something I really want! Send us an email (info@shopavenueboutique.com)! We may be able to work with designers to find what you need, place a special order, or add your size to our next stock shipment. Due to time unpredictability we no longer do special orders on the Greek sandals.

Can I return something if I don't like it? Non sale items (including those using a discount code) can be returned for store credit. Please see our return policy here.

My package says it's delivered but it's not here! Please contact your local post office with your tracking number and they can help you further.

I got an order confirmation but no tracking number... This just means we received your order and payment but it hasn't left the store yet! Give us a few days and the tracking number should update pending USPS cooperation.

I ordered something recently and now it's on sale. Can I get a partial refund? Sales, discounts, and other markdowns are at our discretion and we are unable to offer partial refunds for past orders.

Jewelry Questions:

Who makes the jewelry? All of our Avenue Originals are made in the shop by store owner Alexis Mosij! Some of our pieces (the vertebrae cuff and Tucson pendant for example) are hand-cast in brass or white bronze. This makes it easier for us to keep certain items in stock so they get to you faster. We also hand cut shapes and bars from brass/gold sheets so each one is a little different. We have additional pieces from other great designers, see any of their websites for more info!

Help, the chain on my necklace (or bracelet, or earring) broke! It happens. Send us an email at info@shopavenueboutique.com with some more details and we can help determine if it's a simple fix or repair.

I lost one of my earrings, can you make me a new one? Of course! We charge the half price of the pair. Bring in its match or send us an email to make sure we get the details right. (Avenue brand items only).

My brass jewelry item isn't as shiny as it once was. How do I clean it? Jewelry polishing cloths work best and they're easy to find! Otherwise a soft cloth and a little elbow grease :)

Do you do jewelry engraving? We do! If the surface area is large enough we can send it out for script or plain text engraving, Roman numerals, dates, etc. $35 is a rough estimate.

Where do you find your vintage/found items? All over! A lot of items we come across organically at local thrift stores, charity shops, and anything we see while traveling. The Greek sandals were a find by Avenue owner on her trip to Greece last year and we've kept in touch with their maker to have them in the shop.

How do I find my hat size? Use a soft measuring tape to measure the circumference of your head in inches, where the hat would sit, then refer to the chart on this page and select your size. If you're in between sizes we suggest sizing up.

I'm not sure what size I would be in the Greek sandals. Do they stretch? Yes, they're handmade leather so they will stretch and naturally darken over time. For your convenience we have the length in inches on each item. If you're normally a half size we suggest sizing up.
